Who are WN-Reporters?

WN-Reporters are accredited Wikinews volunteers trusted by the Wikinews community. Accredited reporters are certified for the purposes of carrying out investigative journalism, interviews and gathering information related to Wikinews articles.

However, the accredited reporters do not represent the Wikimedia Foundation.

What is the purpose of `wn-reporters.org`?

wn-reporters.org is an associated website run by Wikinews contributors as an adjunct to the news production process on Wikinews. wn-reporters.org empowers accredited reporters by providing them e-mail and related tools to help them publish original reports.
